Magsar Vad 9 - Utsav of Shri Vitthalnathji (Shri Gusaiji)

PARAM DAYAAL

When Shri Mahaprabhuji did Aasurvyaamohleela (left this material world), Shri Gopinathji (Shri Vallabh's elder son) became the Tilkaayat(head) of the

family and the whole responsibility of the Shriji's temple came in his hand. But when Shri Gopinathji did Bhutal Tyaag( left this material world), his son

Shri Purshottamji was very young. So, it was decided that till he matured, the power and responsibility of the temple would be in the hands of Shri

Vitthalnathji (Shri Gusaiji - Shri Vallabh's younger son).

But, Shri Krishnadasji who was the Adhikaari of the temple thought that if the temple's management would go in hands of Shri Gusaiji then Shri

Purshottamji will be bereft of the powers and responsibility of the temple in the future too.

So,
Shri Krishnadasji ceased Shri Gusaiji from entering the temple.

But, Shri Gusaiji took it positively, thinking it to be Shriji's wish. Aapshri then resided at

Chandrasarovar for 6 months because the window of Shriji's Nij Mandir was visible from Chandrasarovar.

Shri Gusaiji spent these 6 months in Viprayog. He communicated with Shriji through letters (Vigyanpti).

When the king came to know this incident, he immediately ordered his men to put Shri Krishnadas

Adhikari behind the bars and let Shri Gusaiji into the temple
. After arriving in the temple the first thing

                                                                                              Shri Gusaiji asked was,
'Krishnadasji Kahaan Hain?'.

The sevaks told that he was put in the jail by the kings men. Shri Gusaiji kindly told that he would not even drink a drop of water till Shri Krishnadasji

was freed from the jail.
When the king asked that why Shri Gusaiji wanted to free the person who acted so wrongly. Shri Param Dayaal Vitthalnathji said

that Shri Krishnadasji is Shri Vallabhacharyaji's sevak and he must be treated with honour. The king and others were surprised and praised

Shri Gusainji's merciful nature.

On returning back from jail, Shri Krishnadasji prostrated before Shri Gusaiji and sang the following

kirtan praising
Shri Gusaiji's Merciful (Dayaalu) nature.

Meaning :

Shri Vallabh's son (Shri Vitthalnathji) is most merciful to anyone who surrenders to Him as he holds his hand and leads him to God

(Shri Goverdhannathji).

He (Shri Gusaiji) is very polite, kindful and cares for all beings and protects the jeev from being swept away in the Bhavsagar(material world). All the

work gets accomplished as Shri Gusaiji knows everything, so says 'Krishnadas'(as he praises Shri Vitthalnathji).
